Unipak has been saluted by the Lebanese Ministry of Economy & Trade as the winner of its 2009 Lebanese Excellence Award. Organized under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Lebanon, the event took place on 21 January 2010 at the Presidential Palace in Baabda.

Unipak Tissue Mill (UTM) of Halat, Lebanon has received the Certificate of Compliance for its Prime Napkin Tissue product from ISEGA, which has an accreditation of Deutsche Akkreditierungssstelle Chemie (DACH). UTM manufactures jumbo tissue rolls for tissue producers to convert into household tissue products.

Lebanon-based Unipak Tissue Mill (UTM) and Egypt-based Interstate Paper Industries (IPI) participated in the Paper Middle East exhibition 2009 from 3 - 5 October 2009 at Cairo International Fairground, Egypt. Paper Middle East 2009, leading international exhibition for paper, board and converting industry, took place for the first time in Egypt.

Interstate Paper Industries (IPI) in Sadat City, Egypt recently launched operations and exported its first containers of jumbo tissue rolls to Saudi Arabia and Cyprus the beginning of July.

INDEVCO Paper Making, which operates Unipak Tissue Mill (UTM) in Halat, Lebanon and Interstate Paper Industries (IPI) in Sadat City, Egypt, has recently introduced an online e-catalog for jumbo parent tissue rolls.


INDEVCO Paper Making, a division of INDEVCO Group, will exhibit at Tissue World 2009 from 24 - 26 March 2009 at Acropolis Palais des Expositions in Nice, France.
