SUSTAINABILITY

As a division of INDEVCO Group, we base our approach to the environment on our group concept, which emphasizes harmony among industry, community, and environment. We have put a number of systems in place to minimize the adverse impact of manufacturing on our surroundings.

Effluent Treatment
We have invested considerably in machinery and personnel for the development of an efficient Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP). The physical and chemical properties of the mills discharge are continuously monitored to conform to governmental environmental standards.

Water Management
We constantly modify and improve our mill processes to minimize the quantity of fresh water used per ton of tissue. Water is increasingly a precious commodity in our region.

Recycling
We recycle many types of pre- and post-consumer paper, with such major ecological benefits as the reduction of waste paper dumping and forest conservation. We also manufacture different grades of tissue with various percentages of recycled fiber.

Energy Management
We modify our production system and introduce new equipment for efficient use of fossil fuel and reduced air emissions.
