Interstate Paper Industries - Sadat City Menoufia - Egypt

Interstate Paper Industries (IPI)

Interstate Paper Industries manufactures virgin and recycled parent tissue rolls for export to the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Established in 2008 in Sadat City, Egypt, IPI employs 250 people and produces 50,000 metric tons of jumbo tissue rolls / year.

IPI is a leading 'green' tissue mill in the Middle East and North Africa. IPI consumes less power and water than international best practices and purchased fossil fuel-efficient equipment to reduce air emissions. All waste water from the plant is re-used, while net solid waste is either recycled or collected by a licensed contractor for disposal in Sadat city's landfill.  IPI expects to purchase about 30,000 MT / year of waste paper from the local Egyptian market, about one-third of the country's annual waste paper collection.
